Rebekah opened Belleville Piano Studio in July 2025. Her goal was to create an inclusive piano studio where students of all ages, starting at 3 years old, could come and learn to play. She believes music is for everyone and the benefits are limitless.

Rebekah has played piano for 25 years and has taught for 4 years. She previously worked in Kalamazoo teaching with Dan Forbes Music and after moving to Belleville and starting her family, she opened Belleville Piano Studio. Named for the town her and her family now call home and to represent a greater sense of community.

She has 2 children, Madeleine (3) and Elijah (1) with her husband, Scott. Working previous in the pharmacy industry, as her family grew, she decided to take a step back from the corporate life and go back to her roots. Rooted in music, teaching, creativity, and community, that’s where Belleville Piano Studio came to life.

Through school, Rebekah was a competitive percussionist who not only performed with piano, but primarily played marimba in her high school competitive drumline and marching band. Their groups competed in WGI, MCGC, MCBA, and BOA.

Her teaching style reflects her time in those competitive groups as she helps you break down and learn the piece, giving you the tools to be able to do it on your own. She adjusts to the individual and understands that we’re all on our own musical journey.
